The Working Principle of Electronic Thermostat

The electronic thermostat is developed on the basis of the mechanical thermostat. There are corresponding hysteresis effects. Inside the automotive electronic thermostat, there is a thermostat heater, that is, to increase a heating resistance, before the water temperature reaches the temperature that allows the traditional mechanical thermostat to be turned on, the ECM control heating resistor adjusts the thermostat in advance, so that the engine temperature adapts to the current demand and improves fuel economy.
